I had heard the commercials for sponsoring children at
Compassion International on my radio station often.
Although I thought it was a great program,
I never considered it for myself as we didn't really have
the extra money. Then, when I started Recycle Bin Graphics,
I felt like God had really blessed me,
both with talent to draw and financially, so
I wanted to do something special for Him. It just clicked one afternoon when
I heard the commercial again and I knew I wanted to sponsor
a child....any child...I didn't care.
So in December of 2002, I started my sponsorship with Kevin.
