The Otimism, The Mercy, The Loyalty

BY THE NAME OF ALLAH THE MOST MERCIFUL THE MOST COMPASSIONATE

1. THE OPTIMISIM (atta fa ol)

The definition of this word is to have the satisfaction and the good thinking about Allah (swt) and to have the hope in Allahs merciness. Hadith Qudsi, Allah says, Im as my servants good thinking about me. If he thinks well, he gets good. If he thinks evil, he gets evil.

The prophet (pbuh) said in a hadeeth, Not any one of you should wish to die because if he is a good Muslim he might increase his good deeds, and if we is a bad Muslim he might repent. Allah says in the Holy Quran : Say oh my servants who have transgressed against their souls despair not of the mercy of Allah: For Allah forgives all sins for he is oft forgiving, most merciful.

The Prophet (pbuh) said, Whoever wakes up safe in his house, and in good health, and he has enough food for his day, hes like the one who has everything in this life. The meaning is that if you have safety everyday, and youre healthy, and your food for the day you must feel very happy because you are like the rich people and this should give you optimism.

The opposite of optimism is bad omen and our Prophet said, There is no bad omen in Islam except in three things, in the house, in the wife, and in the ride (like the horses, cars nowadays). This means that if there are always problems in your house and lack of (rizq) food, money, etc. all the time, you can change your house as if your house is a reason for your bad omen. By changing it you might change the problems that you are suffering from it.
This applies to your wife (if somebody marries a woman and his life with her from the beginning is full of problems, lack of income, etc. they both have the right to separate and seek better life with another spouse). This doesnt mean that the wife is the bad omen but they have the right to feel the bad omen from their situation and seek to find better life with another spouse. As for your car if youre having constant problems in it and its a bad omen for you, you have the right in Islam to change it.

But whats forbidden (haram) is to say, I have a bad omen when I see a certain kind of birds, animals, places, and people. If you ever have any feeling of a bad omen whenever you see one of these things, you should know that this feeling is from Satan. The cure from this in Islam is to spit lightly three times over your left side and to say this duaa: Alahuma la tayra illa tayrak wala khayra illa khayroka wala illaha ghairoka.
The meaning of this duaa is that any harm or good that happens to you is from Allahs alone. If you feel optimism within your heart, you should know that now you have satisfaction from everything that Allah gives you.

2. THE MERCY (al rahmah)

The Prophet (pbuh) said, Mercy is not taken out except from someone miserable. This means that mercy is a quality of a believer and that he should be kind to all the creatures of Allah. The Prophet said, he is not one of us who is not merciful to our young. And he is not from us who is not respectful to our elderly and knows the right of our scholars upon us. He also (pbuh) said, Allah is kind and merciful and He gives good rewards on this quality that He doesnt give on other deeds. Allah punishes those who torture people in this life.

This means that our Prophet (pbuh) insists that a Muslim should be merciful towards everything - with animals, plants, and people. The importance of Mercy is in two points:
First, you will deserve Allahs Mercy because it is one of Allahs attributes.
Second, you will have good manners and you will be following our Prophets Sunna. Because Allah says in the Quran that he had sent our Prophet as a Mercy to the people.

3. THE LOYALTY (al wafaa)
The Prophet said, Keeping the promise is from believing. The best of companions in the eyes of Allah are those who are the best to their companions. And the best of neighbors are those who are the best to their neighbors.
This means you should be loyal to your brothers and sisters in Islam and to keep your promises even with non-Muslims, because Allah will ask about all the promises you made on judgment day. The most important loyalty is that which you have for your religion.
