Good Manners

Our Prophet (pbuh) said:
The most thing which can enter you Jennah (paradise) is fear of Allah and good manners". He also says, The most perfect among believers is the best one in manners and the best of you is he who treats his wife the best".

He also said in a Qudsi Hadeeth ( a saying were Allah is the speaker) where Allah (sw) addresses Prophet Ibraheem (pbuh),
"Oh my companion (Khalili) improve your manners even with non-believers and you will enter the entrances of the pious, because I have given my word that he who has good manners I will shade him by my thrown and I would enter him the place of my blessings and place him near me".

In another Hadeeth our Prophet (pbuh) said to his Sahabah (companions),
" Do you want me to tell you who among of you looks like me? They said yes. He said it is he who is the best in manners, the best in treating others and be treated, the best to treat his relatives, the one who loves his brothers in Islam the most and is most tolerant and patient for the right things ( Haq ), he who is the best forgiver of others mistakes and he who is fair and just to himself and the others."

In another Hadeeth our Prophet (pbuh) tells his companions,
"Don't you want me to tell you about the one who the Hell fire is forbidden on him? They said yes. He said it is forbidden on every lenient, simple and easy to deal with person." This means that the person who is easy to deal with, not harsh, and kind.

In another Hadeeth our Prophet (pbuh) said,
"Allah hates the one who frowns in the face of his brothers".

In another Hadeeth," The worst place in the day of judgement will be for those whom people are afraid of their evils in this life."

In another Hadeeth," Six kinds of people Allah cursed and I cursed and were cursed by every prophet before me:
1. The one who adds to the book of Allah
2. The one who doesn't believe in Destiny and Fate of Allah?
3. The one who has power and authority and who is not fair and just to people.
4. The one who does sins without caring that Allah forbids them and he says they are not haram (forbidden) but Halal (allowed)
5. The one who talks bad about the prophet's family?
6. The one who doesn't follow the Sunnah (way) of the Prophet?

In a Qudsi Hadeeth Allah said,
"Oh my servant mention me when you get angry I will remember you in the time of my anger and I will not punish you with those whom I punish."

One of the scholars said that he who has bad manners the agony of this life and the hereafter would be put on him.
One asked our Prophet (pbuh) what is the hardest thing on people from Allah, he replied the Anger of Allah.
The man asked what can protect me from Allah's anger, he replied don't become angry."

One of the scholars said that the beginning Anger is Madness and the end of it is being sorry.

Another scholar describes good manners as to have a kind face, a kind speech, less anger, and tolerance for hardships.

May Allah give us all good manners.
