Hope this will find you in the best of health and Iman. I would like to talk to you about Ramadan. This generous month is about to come, just 2 weeks and it will lighten our life and come after 11 months of absence. So are we ready to welcome it?

Do you know that fasting or saowm can erase saiyyat that salat or zakat can't erase? Fasting is so important to us, especially in Ramadan. In Ramadan we are given more hasant for doing the same prayers or any kind of worship. The more hahsanat will benefit us in having more chances to enter paradise and be away from hell.

The main reason of the creation of humans is to worship Allah, in the Quran: "I haven't created Jinn or humans for nothing except worshipping." So we are here on earth to worship Allah the the way He told us. So our life is whether hasanat or siyat, everything is written in our books: the book of saiyyat and the other of hasnat. The bigger the book of hasnat, the more chances for us to be saved from hell fire and enter paradise and vice versa. So that is why Ramadan is important to our lives, It is not fasting only but more and more.

Besides this, in Ramadan, Allah chooses some ppl to save them from hell forever. They wont enter it at all. In Ramadan, forgiveness and mercy are spread and more available and Duaa is more acceptable. BUT what do you think you will gain from all this and benefit from this?

Those who worship Allah well and try to make good deeds, or those who dont care but go to make more saiyat? In this generous month Allah urges us to be better to gain His pradise but some of us don't care! Consider if you are studying for an exam and you are told that if you make good answers, you will have doubled marks. And this will increase your chance to enter the faculty you dream of. Will you leave this offer and go playing football or watching TV? Mostly you will study hard to gain your dream faculty, right?

The same with Ramadan, we are given a great offer in this month to gain paradise after death - death which will come sooner or later - so shall we put this offer aside and do nothing but watching TV and spending most of the time in sleeping or playing or whatever? Think well, it is our eternal life that we are ignoring! We do care for this temprorary life and this affects much our eternal life. Although this life is a mix of happiness and misery... the other eternal life is WHETHER happiness OR misery!

In Ramadan, we find some unveiled muslim women wear a veil, why? Because many saiyyat in fasting time makes our fasting useless with no hasant, it will be just that one made the duty of fasting but with no rewards!!! What a loss!!!!!!!

Watching TV is one of the most worst factors that make our fasting with no reward! We all know that what is presented in it is too many serials, plays, movies and other programs! What is all this for?! Have you asked yourself this question before? I'll answer you: this is a way to take people away from religion! Religion has a magic effect on people, especially Islam! Through strong faith muslims can conquer any enemy, but if they stay busy with their lives, their lusts for money or whatever, they wont speak much about polictics and Islam! In Ramdan there is a BIG chance for muslims to return to their religion! OH! So by making them busy with TV they won't return to Islam ever except with a mercy from Allah! That is if they didn't return to their Islam in Ramadan when will they return?! An intelligent and a malignant way of deception. So, will we fall into the trap???!!!!!!!

TV too makes more saiyyat. For example, looking to non-mahram women is haram. Men are ordered to not look to women with or without a lust in a clear aya in Surat AlNour. We all know this aya. So are we going to obey Allah even just in this generous month?

Allah's gerosity can't be comparable but it is better to US to requite this generosity with good deeds and ask for more hasanat not with saiyyat and more disobedience of Allah.

One of the simplest and the greatest ways of making more hasant - after the normal duties of the 5 prayers and zakat - is Thikr and Duaa. They are just little words to be said in any clean place, in any time, in any position, but we gain a lot from them. It is said that Duaa is the brain of worshipping. Thikr makes our book of hasant grow and grow until we are bigger and bigger than the other bad book of saiyyat! Do we need anything more than this big book from life? We won't take anything except this when this life ends.
