60 Years Young in 2004!

Happy Birthday to my Mom,
She's always been a Dear.

All through our years,
She held us close and wiped away our tears.

~

When forced to leave our home for good,
she gathered up my special toys

Instead of her own treasures
which may all have been destroyed.

To teach me principles of God's Word
Each night Bible stories were read,

And praying for others was taught by example
when bedtime prayers were said.

~

So as I grew, and the hurts and joys
of childhood filled my days,

Mom was there with a comforting word
and an encouragement along the way.

Even though told she'd never again conceive,
God gave Mom a second little one

This taught me to faithfully trust in Him
until your trials are done.

~

When I was stubborn and willful,
Mom committed me to prayer

She took me to His altar
and gently left me there.

The greatest lesson she taught to me,
was to trust Him and surrender our all,

For He too holds us close and wipes away tears -
She just lived by His example.

I love you Mom!

Happy Birthday!

We hope you have a very special 60th Birthday!
We wish we could be there with you!

Love,
