You think you recognize this place, vaguely. A wall of seemingly inpenetrable vines block your path, while surrounded on all sides by thick undergrowth and trees. Oh darn, that means you've gone in a huge circle and are back to Square One. But then again... Kivuli Jungle looked mostly the same, even at different angles. So...?

You are standing there trying to make up your mind when you hear a drumming of hooves, followed by the source: A leagus stallion, maneuvering deftly between trees and vines, and leaping over what he can't avoid. He slows to a walk upon seeing you, a friendly but slightly concerned,look on his face. "Be careful gryphon. I'd advise you not to go in there, not with Hallowed Night prowling around her domain at this time. Oh, I'm Hengeyokai." He bows in greeting. "My sweetheart doesn't quite like visitors wandering around, but I wonder why. I do love visitors!"

The stallion smiles, a dreamy expression wreathing his face. "My pri~erd is around here too, although they're very scattered. I've just completed my rounds, now I'm returning to my sweet darling, whom I know always awaits me. And I'll go meet her eagerly!" Hengeyokai abruptly shakes himself from the reverie. "Unfortunately she doesn't welcome visitors. Perhaps one day she'll be more social... until then!" He gives you a friendly smile, before trotting to the wall of vines and suddenly vanishing through them. Blinking, you venture over to where Hengeyokai disappeared, but can't find the entrance. Just as well, for the thought of meeting his mysterious lead mare isn't quite an entertaining option, so you turn and retrace your steps back.
