Despite the Jungle's denseness that makes you to feel claustrophobic, its peace and silence is more than attractive. You wander onward, revelling in the stillness and gentle darkness, glad that at least peace still exists in this world.

At first you think it's an illusion, but the bright apparition continues to flicker in and out of your vision, a rather large eyesore against the otherwise dark world. Despite your efforts to see it, it eludes your gaze very effectively. You are beginning to get a little more than annoyed, when a tinkling laugh sounds next to your ear. "Peek-a-boo! You can't see me, but I can see you!"

You whirl about just in time to see a pale pastel leagus disappear into the undergrowth. You are still looking when her voice chimes behind you: "I'm here! I'm there! No, I'm here!" Each time she disappears and reappears in a different place, yet disappearing a mere moment before your eyes reach her. All attempts are futile and only end up getting you dizzy from turning about and around. The mare laughs gaily at your slowness.

"Foolish gryphon!" she chuckles. "Don't you know that no one can ever see Chimeric Dream when she is in her dwellingplace? Her appearance is fleeting, her step is fleeting and momentary, she follows the wind wherever she goes. Just like you cannot see the wind blowing, likewise you will never see Chimeric Dream with your eyes! Do not bother to search, for you shall never find me!"

Right, NOW she tells you that. But the infuriating laughter chimes in your ears again, this time diminishing until it is blown away by the softly murmuring breeze. Sighing, you get up and move on.
