Chapter 04: "The Slaves of Brambosa"
Summery: Prince Dragonas must face his first major boss battle!
Prince Dragonas battles Brambosa!

*** 04 ***

After fighting a few oozes and big bugs, Prince Dragonas and his
party makes their way down south where the bigger monsters live.
some tougher monsters like Vile Cactus, Mad Mushroom, and Falcons
are the roughest enemies they had faced yet. After a day of
traveling, they camped for the night. They settled down by the
fire a chatted for a while.

"Doublosa, how long has Brambosa been in Urimbatcho?"

Prince Dragonas asked.

"For nearly two months. See, the dwarves trade with the people of
Urimbatcho. When we arrived there to trade with the people, they
warned us that a brute named Brambosa had been threatening them
for over a year and he would get his revenge!"

Doublosa answered.

"What did those people do to him?"

Dragonas asked.

"NOTHING, except they accidentally killed one of his thieves, one
of his henchmen, Brambosa was known as a thief. Him and his band
of thieves would sack towns and leave them for dead. Brambosa
tried to sack Urimbatcho the first time, but they were repelled
by the town's people, they waited to see when a time would come
that they would assault the townsmen of Urimbatcho, their waiting
paid off when Brambosa and his men saw us dwarves arrive. After
we arrived, they attacked us all. Luckily, we killed his henchmen,
but my men died with Brambosa's men. Brambosa took everyone prisoner
and the townsmen knew someone had to escape to go get help. Then I
met you."

Doublosa recounted the tale with great truth. Lywos then spoke.

"I hear that Doublosa is a great swordsman. His sword, 'the sword
of thieves' was once believed to be that of the great thief Bolef
who helped Eccadairius the Great out once Eccadairius defeated
him in battle. The Sword of Thieves was given to a merchant that
passed the great sword down to his fellow merchants when it was
stolen five years ago. If you can defeat Brambosa, that sword would
be great help to you."

Lywos like Doublosa knew a lot of tales about the past.

"My father had said that Bolef was the one who forged that mighty
sword."

Princess Delena told him.

"Very good. At least we know what to expect once we get there."

Dragonas replied.

"Let's get some rest. We'll leave a dawn for Urimbatcho."

Doublosa told everyone. That night they had rested well. The next
morning, Everyone traveled along the long peninsula to Urimbatcho.
By late afternoon, they had arrived at Urimbatcho. Brambosa's
henchmen stood at the front gates.

"Who goes there?"

The Brambosa Goon asked.

"We are here to liberate this town!"

Prince Dragonas spoke as he broke down the gate with his sword and with
his feet. The gate crumbled to nothingness.

"You'll pay for that!"

The Brambosa Goon announced angrily. Brambosa spoke up. He was a big
tall man that was very muscular. He knew no magic. His hair was dark
and his eyes were brown. He had the Sword of Thieves that once
belonged to the great thief Bolef. Brambosa called it 'The Sword of
Brambosa' It would be a great prize if Brambosa was defeated and
Prince Dragonas claimed the sword as his own.

"Come my Goons, attack them with me so we can claim their lifeless
bodies!"

Brambosa challenged.

"Oh boy! This will be my first boss battle."

Prince Dragonas announced.

"Don't worry cousin, you can do it."

Princess Delena encouraged him.

"We elves were born in the heat of battle! I am ready!"

Lywos announced as he grabbed is sword. Elves were great at
most weaponry. Lywos was the best-trained elfin soldier around.

"And I Doublosa will aid you with my magic. If you get wounded,
I'll heal you. Also, I can attack with some attack spells. So,
if you need me, please just ask."

Doublosa explained.

"I can heal too and lower the enemies evasion and defense. You can
depend on me to aid you!"

Princess Delena announced.

"Then let's do it! Fire Breathing Dragon!"

Prince Dragonas called out. He changed into a huge green dragon!

"Oh? The Prince of Dragonas, like should I be afraid of you?"

Brambosa asked.

"You vile fiend, you can harm them if you'd like, but I will crush
you with my Dragon's Breath and Dragon's Strength!"

Prince Dragonas yelled. Prince Dragonas blew hot scorching flames
at the Goons! They fell to the ground and died instantly.

"You may have beaten by Goons, but I am five times stronger than
them!"

Brambosa yelled. Lywos gripped his sword and struck Brambosa in
the belly.

"You damn fool! That hurts! Feel the power from the Sword of
Thieves!"

Brambosa yelled as he flung the sword in the air sending ice sickles
at Prince Dragonas's team! Everyone was hurt except for Prince Dragons!

"My turn! Blastmore!"

Doublosa casts the Blastmore spell. A huge fireball engulfed Brambosa
and burned him.

"My turn! Defense!"

Princess Delena yelled. A blue fog covered Brambosa, his defense dropped
to zero!

"My turn again! Dragon's Claws!"

Prince Dragonas spoke as he used his claws to stab Brambosa! The
Dragon's claws penetrated inside Brambosa. Dragonas stabbed him
again with his claws! Brambosa fell to the ground. Prince Dragonas
returned to human form.

"I am defeated... fine! I'll leave this place to you!"

Brambosa spoke as he got up from the ground. Blood was oozing from
his wounds and he dropped his sword. Brambosa used Wyvern's Wings
to teleport away to a far away place to regroup!

"You defeated the fiend!"

The Village Mayor announced when he came out of hiding. Dragonas
picked up the Sword of Brambosa.

"This is a great prize. May I have it?"

Prince Dragonas asked.

"Yes please, by all means! We have no use for that sword!"

The Village Mayor replied.

"Thanks."

Prince Dragonas thanked him.

"Thank you. Please stay tonight so we can give you a feast in your
honor."

The Mayor told him.

"We would be most honored to."

Lywos announced.

"Good."

The Mayor smiled. That night, the people of Urimbatcho celebrated
their freedom from Brambosa, they had been captives for many months.
Now they were able to start a new life.
