Dragon Fighter Quest: Descendent of Eccadairius!
Chapter 01: "Conflict With Father"
Summery: Prince Dragonas, a prince of Dragonia and descendent of
Eccadairius; the great hero who slew the terrible archfiend
Ferdinand. Prince Dragonas must discover why his father exiled
him.

*** 01 ***

The palace slept in slumber, the wind blew peacefully. Every
creature did not stir at all that night. Prince Dragonas
lay awake on his bed, thinking about his heritage of him
being related to all the dragons in his homeland, and at
the same time, Prince Dragonas also thought of the mighty
hero of Eccadairius who two hundred and fifty years ago
slew the mighty Archfiend Ferdinand. His father, King
Dracolonis told him many times, how Eccadairius traveled
all around the world, and defeated many foes! Dragonas
wished he could do the same. By traveling all around the
world; Dragonas could travel and witness the sights that
his forefather Eccadairius traveled long ago. Little did
he know that his wish would come true!

The next morning, his father called him to the throne room.
This was a usual calling for Prince Dragonas. Prince Dragonas
had black hair. He stood 5'10" tall. He weighed 130 pounds and
he was also left-handed! Dragonas was a very gifted prince, and
little did he know of the power that lay dormant deep inside him.
His attendant woke him up.

"Time to rise, dear prince or your father will scold you again!"

The maid spoke in a very gentle tone. Dragonas had grown to fear
his own father! Dragonas wanted to take his time in going to the
throne room, but doing so could result in his father's anger.

"Don't make him wait, or he'll scold you harder!"

The maid urged him on. Dragonas nodded. Dragonas had green eyes
that sparkled. Dragonas was half human and half dragon, however
his human side was more dominant! The hallways of the castle
were made of the hardest stone and ancient artifacts covered
the walls. As prince Dragonas walked by, he could feel the
anxiety building up and ready to burst! His father was strong
for a dragon and capable of killing any man (or dragon) who
dared challenging him!

Prince Dragonas walked up the stairs where his father awaited
for him! Finally, Dragonas arrived and stood in front of his 
father. His father spoke to him.

"Son, I am displeased that you're not like our kind."

King Dracolonis stood up as he spoke. King Dracolonis was the largest,
strongest, and most powerful of all dragons! Dragonas spoke up.

"Father, I am the son of your body! I don't know if I carry your
traits or not! All I know that I am your son and I love you! Don't
you have any feelings for that?"

Dragonas lashed back. Dragonas felt something evil about his father
but, couldn't make out what.

"Is that how you answer me?"

King Dracolonis answered back.

"Yes father! I am your son and I am the heir to the throne of 
Dragonia! Not only that, I am also the descendent of Eccadairius the
hero of Melonia! Does that mean anything to you father?"

Dragonas lashed back again. Doing this seemed to anger Dracolonis
even more!

"So, you dare compare me to Eccadairius?"

King Dracolonis yelled back.

"Just like Eccadairius, I too am destined to be great!"

Dragonas stated.

"So, you claim to be AS GREAT AS ECCADAIRIUS? Then try fighting
me!"

King Dracolonis challenged. Dragonas drew his sword out. King
Dracolonis blew flames towards Dragonas, but the flames didn't
touch Dragonas, because he was immune to the flames. Dragonas
grabbed his sword and struck Dracolonis at his right side.
Then Dracolonis cast a slumber spell on Dragonas and Dragonas
fell asleep. Next, Dracolonis made Dragonas forget who he was
and where he came from. Dracolonis flew with Dragonas in his
claws and flew him to Melonia where he dropped Dragonas off.
Dracolonis flew away back to Dragonia. Dragonas lay there
on the ground sleeping not knowing what had occurred.
