| Original Prayer Request for Artis & Terri Smith & Unborn - April 27, 2001 May I seek your help with intercessory and circle of prayers for a dear friend, Terri, considered an extended daughter of my immediate family. Terri Smith, her husband and minister, Artis, and their unborn child are experiencing critical medical difficulties and complications with their unborn baby diagnosed with heart problems and downs syndrome. The doctors hospitalized Terri due to the baby's heart rate steadily dropping. The doctors decided this afternoon, April 26, to immediately induce labor at 7-1/2 month term in an effort to prevent Little Smith from being still-born. To further complicate matters Terri is diabetic. A C-section increases risk of Terri's medical condition and inability to heal properly from surgery. A natural birth through labor inducement increases the risk of Little Smith suffering additional heart damage. WE ALL KNOW THE REAL DOCTOR, THE REAL HEALER, THE REAL PROTESTOR, THE REAL CONQUEROR, THE REAL SOURCE, FRUIT, ANGEL AND POWER OF OUR LIVES! Please join me in an intercessory circle by delivering powerful prayers for Terri and Little Smith. Give each of them discernment to reveal to them the power they have in our Almighty Father to defeat, heal and give life to its fullest. | Prayer for Terri, unborn & husband Artis Father God, we lift your servants up to you in the mighty name of Jesus. If Elizabeths' baby leaped in her womb when the unborn Jesus entered the room in his Mary's womb, then we know your power reaches even into the womb of mothers and affecting the unborn with the knowledge and power of God. Lord, we pray that it is your will that this precious unborn receive all of your tender mercies. We pray for stand up, glorifying mercy Lord over this entire family unit. As we all join in to petition you Lord, let our hearts bow down in reverence and lift up to great expectation. For we are all believers, who believe in your mighty hand to change the unchangeable and to make what is out of sink, in sinc with your word of healing. Be glorifed Lord in the case of this family and we praise you in advance Lord, because we know your will for believers... In Jesus' name we stand in the gap and in agreeance for this family. | Update: May 22, 2001 "Benjamin Jeremiah Smith" is a week old, born into this World under the grace of God's power and the multitude of prayers from other 12 Churches, Intercessory groups and praying individuals like yourselves! Benjamin is STRONG and determined to survive. Both Benjamin and mother, Terri, are amazingly doing quite well! Everyone is of the belief that God will fix Benjamin's heart, which he is scheduled for surgery in the next few months, and everyone is of the belief that Benjamin will be a strong, outgoing downs syndrome child. Thank you for your prayers and blessings. Teresa, you are amazing!! Where did you find the picture? I have copied my daughter, Andree, so she can have the privilege of witnessing the updates with picture you have so graciously offered to publish on your website. | Update: July 30, 2001 Little Benjamin born under the Grace of God and the abundance of prayers from everyone to bring this special child into the world... Little Benjamin will undergo heart surgery in the next several weeks. He is quite alert and a strong little boy with downs syndrome. Our blessings and prayers continues to go out for Little Benjamin throughout the course of his medical difficulties. Thank you again for your circle of prayers.
