Rodney

Father, we set before this young boy and his family.
They are believers Lord and they call on your name out
of a pure heart and in faith to you.
Lord, we pray it is your will that this child recovery
and go on to be strong as a testimony to your name.
We stand in the gap for this family and pray for his full recovery
in Jesus' name.

Original Prayer Request:
Please pray for a son of a member of our church.
He is 13 (name is Rodney)
has a nose cancer that he has been in chemo for since November. Thought last month all the cancer was gone. Back again and he is heading this week to Tuscon for more advance treatment.

Mother and Son are saved.
He has been a great testimony to our youth
through all of this. His spirit is high
even though he can't attend school regularly
nor visit church often because
of his immune system.

Mother (Dalyn) is holding up but very anxious
at this point because the doctors have told her children normally die from the type of cancer he has
no matter what the treatment eventually.
But we are claiming God's will and
healing grace will abound.

Prayer Update:
February 13, 2001
Good morning and Praise God. Let me give a praise report on Rodney. There are now two pictures. One show the cancer back and another show no cancer. The doctors have decided to not have him go to Tuscon and will wait a couple of weeks and let him get stronger and take some more pictures. Rodney has been saying all through this that the cancer was not back the picture was wrong. He never claimed its return. He is home for now taking chemo on the weekends. Pamala Arnold

February 28, 2001
This is a 13 year old with cancer of the nose. He has been going through chemo since November of last year. He is saved and knows the Lord. Pray for a full recovery and strength for his mother who is a single parent with three children. He will be having test again in three week to see if there is any live cancer cells remaining.
