| In addition, I realize that Jesus Himself is seated at the right hand of you oh Lord, defending my cause and pleading my case into your ear (Romans 8:33-36). Further, you are not a weak parent like myself, you discipline those who belong to you (Hebrews 12:7-12) and that discipline specifically is a sign of your love and that those who are corrected by you, belong to you and your camp. As I have lived on both inside of your will and outside of your will. In both cases, I have known your mercy to follow me and to rescue me on every occasion. So today, I call upon that same mercy Lord to save me and to protect me and to keep me from harm's way. As I walk in this time and space, designed and granted by you, you watch over me like a field of grain. You send showers of both goodness and mercy to follow after me, All the days of my life. What an awesome and compassionate God you are, how can I ever deny you? Who could turn away from such a God as you. Your desire to give me the best, overwhelms my limited ability to comprehend such a God, with such a love for me and mankind. I praise you Lord with my hands lifted in the air, both my spirit and my soul praise you together, for thy mercy has continued to make a way of escape for me, time after time. Because your Word states that your mercy is freshly available to us all afresh each morning, I am always able to find mercy from God and I seek your mercy today. Yes, my own actions have put me directly in the path of just punishment or judgement, but Lord I know you have overcome this world and can rescue me via your mercy. I remember how when you were moved to end all life and start a new with only eight people; Noah and his family, you repented. In your mercy you tied your own hands of power behind your back and vowed never to destroy mankind in such a way (Genesis 9:11 & 2 Peter 3:5-7), so I know you can show me mercy in this very day. I confess my wrong doings Lord, my life is an open book before you, I do not seek to even cover my sins (Psalms 85:2), but instead I confess my sins openly to you and seek your mercy to cover my sins (1 John 1:9). I deserve whatever is scheduled against me Lord, but If I might receive mercy from on High, I pray for it right now in the name of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Lord, let this cup pass over me and let it be your will to show me mercy. In Jesus' mighty name I stand praying and believing in your mighty hand of mercy and rescue, amen. |

| Mercy for Someone Else Father, I pray in behalf of another for you to show them mercy and grace. Lord, you know the details better than myself, you know the individual better than myself and you know exactly the results will be. I know that we have an advocate with you and His name is King Jesus and is forever seated at your right hand pleading our case before you. You can see that the odds are against this individual Lord and only your mercy and special providence will save them. They need you Lord urgently, be glorified in their situation Lord and let it be your will to rescue them. In Jesus' mighty name I pray, amen. |
