Prayer Request for Bill Wayt and his wife Norma April 5, 2001 Dear Lord, prayers for sick parents are starting to come in and only you know exactly what is going on. I know you know Patti's mom, she did a good work in loving and raising Patti lord and I know you give credit for good works too. But now Norma might be faced with the loss of her spouse or the possibility that he might not recover to a healthy mobile state of existence. Only you know the future Lord and what will be will be, but you gave us the right to stand in the gap and pray in behalf of one another. Here is a double petition Lord. One for Norma, that you give her strength and sobriety to deal with whatever it is coming down the pike. Then we lift up a prayer to you in behalf of Bill. Mr. Bill Lord, you know him and every hair on his head and body. You guarded his path into this life and set angels to watch over him everyday of his life. I pray that Bill knows to call upon you name for his every need. We pray in Jesus' name, believing believing in your word and your promises in all things. Amen.
Prayer Update: July 2, 2001 Hi Sweet Teresa, You do not know how much I needed these wonderful words of wisdom this morning. Thank you! My mom and I had to move my step-dad (Bill Wyat) into the hospice center Saturday. They took him off dialysis and he has from a few days to 10 days to live. The nurse said that people could even spend the night in the same room with him, and Bill asked mom to stay, but She said, "I can't do that!" I was upset her. Bill asked "Why Ma?" She told him that she just couldn't sleep well in there with the noise and commotion in the halls. I think she is just in denial and afraid of this whole process. Anyway, please pray for my mom (Norma) that she find strength to copy and comply with Bill's dying wish. And pray that my step-dad Bill have a peaceful transition from this life to the life with God. Thankfully, he is a Christian man and he is prepared for his final journey to the Lord Love, Patti

Original Prayer Request: April 25, 2001 Thanks Teresa! Bill and Norma Wayt are the names of my mom and step dad. Bill is on the upswing thank God. He goes up and down and right now he is up. Mom is stressed and tired because he is so up and down and she doesn't know when the down will happen again. I know-that heart disease is awful. My dad had a triple bypass a few years ago too so it's not like that decreased my chances any ya know? You are absolutely right about us saving ourselves! Thanks for letting me be a test dummy with you. Thanks again for the prayers! Patti Michaels
