Prayer Request for Mike Zelinsky
June 28, 2001

Dear Lord, you know all of the details of this family and
Mike Zelinsky.  According to Don, he is in for the fight of his life.
Truth is Lord, we are all in the fight for our lives, but according to
scripture, it is Jesus Christ Himself, who died for our lives.
Lord as we call upon your name, in the hour of need, together, we
know that you hear us.  We lift Mike Zelinsky up to you in Praise and
recognition of both your power and mercy over our lives, both
now and in eternity.  Healing and restoration come from thy hand alone Lord,
therefore we submit the fate of Mike Zelinsky to your will and wisdom.
Mike and his wife Susan are strong believers in the faith Lord
together, they know to call upon your name.
Lord, we stand in the gap, praying and believing in the will
of Jesus in this matter and the full recovery of Mike, amen
.
Psalms 91:4
He shall cover thee
with his feathers,
and under his wings
shalt thou trust:
his truth shall be
thy shield and buckler.
James 5:13-15
Is any among you afflicted?
let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms.
Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders
of the church; and let them pray over him,
anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:
And the prayer of faith shall save the sick,
and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have
committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.
Confess your faults one to another, and pray one
for another, that ye may be healed.
The effectual fervent prayer
of a righteous man availeth much.
Prayer Request for Mike Zelinsky

To All,

A dear brother in Christ, Mike Zelinsky is in a battle for his life!
Mike has inoperable cancerous tumors in both lobe of his lungs and has been
given 6 months to live barring a miracle.  We believe in miracles and have
experienced them time after time!

Mike is an active member of the Glad Tidings A/G worship team in Reading Pa.
and has a strong faith and love for our Lord, Jesus Christ. He was very weak
when I talked to him today but he otherwise was in good spirits and full of
faith.  Also keep his wife Susan in prayer. She too shows a remarkable faith
and trust in what our Lord already did for us 2000 years ago at Calvary when
he took on all our sin, diseases and infirmities.

Please pass this request for prayer and intercession on to your prayer groups
and I will keep you posted of his progress.
If you would like to send a note of encouragement his address is:

Philippians 2:27
For indeed he was sick nigh unto death:
but God had mercy on him; and not on him only,
but on me also, lest I should have sorrow upon sorrow.
