| Prayer Request for Leon November 29, 2000 Dear Lord, this is another young prodigal son in trouble and another mother crying. Fix it Lord. You know all the particulars. Comfort this mother's cries Lord, give her your peace. Cause her to cast all her cares on you and to rest in you. You know the way-wardness of our youth, how they feel they know it all and have to do it all. You know how they struggle with right over wrong, but they are our children Lord. We confess that perhaps we did not make all the correct parenting choices in rearing them, but you are the Father of us all. Lord, this mother was able to go to her son and set him up with a great church support group, but as we all know we can lead the horse to water, but we can make them drink. Cause this son to drink Lord. He knows the truth Lord, we raised him in the church Lord, but you will have to cause change in his heart Lord. Turn him around Lord, make him to stand Lord. We pray in Jesus' name, believing� believing in your word and your promises in all things. Amen. |
| Original Prayer Request: March 15, 2001 Girl it sounds wonderful. Please pray right now that he goes will accept the terms of this Christian based drug rehab and go on in this morning. I called you last night and left you a message telling you to call me collect when you got home. I wanted to thank you and just say God is good all the time, all the time God is Good!! Thank you for being a vessel. God really used you in that very moment. It is amazing how you had that information right there available. I told the director how Leon knows the Lord and had been a member of Pilgrims Rest and was a drummer in the church choir, he said that that was perfect because he had just started a band with the members and all that they lacked was a drummer. Sounds like the Lord working things out hummm... God is an awesome God. Pray with me that Leon takes this opportunity. Call me at the studio... November 29, 2000 Teresa, you know my son Leon, He is having some real big challenges, remember all the things I told you about in our last telephone conversation, well the problems have not gone away.
