| Original Prayer Request November 21, 2001 Dear Lord, My very own dad is in poor health. He is not "thriving" Lord, he seems to be just whithering away. He is only 73 and the only child of my beloved grandparents, now departed. He is my daddy Lord and I know you know all about him, not one hair has fallen to grown from his head that you are not aware of and in this I trust. I don't need to understand or name what is wrong with him, I fully entrust his health and life to you. I love this guy Lord because he never denied me. I was not the child of his marriage, but he never treated me slack, he never turned his back on me... well you know how I feel about him... I don't want him to suffer... so keep him well until the very moment you come for him... grant him sustaining strength and continued sobriety. Cause his legs to firm up and be strong, cause him to be ambulatory. Remember that he kept his own mother, and that he honored his own father, remember his good works Lord and let all of his sins be covered by The blood of Jesus. Give his wife Ann, my sister and step-mom her just reward for her faithful service toward my dad. Bless her triple, for she is the ancho in that house and she never treated me like a step-child. She is proverbial as in proverbs 31 Lord, a great prize to my father. Bless all his off-spring, my brother Reggie and his family, my sister Pat and her family, my sister Karen and her son Trevon and Lord, thank you for the friends you blessed my dad with, friends like Phalos Haire, that he thought enough to hale me lord as an act of Love toward my dad and his friend. Thank you for the miricle you worked in Phalos in returning him to his wife and children, keeping those children safe until he came to right mind and then causing Phalos to love you and preach your word, I praise you Lord for Phalos and his family, especially his wife how in obedience she forgave and received him back. You have been good to us all Lord so we shall continue to stand in the gap for my father and continue to trust you and wall in your truth and believe all of your promises and pray without ceasing in the name of Jesus,. Amen. |
