Iserved with the 62nd Nov.67-Nov.68 Long Binh. Worked in the battalion personnel office. Even managed to survive the "68" TET Offensive. I've kept in touch with seven buddies. The friendships haven't changed. This past Sept. I attended my first, the 18th annual Howard County Vietnam Veterans Organization (kokomo, Indiana) Reunion. Over 20,000 in attendance. Had a blast! I'm looking forward to many more! I enjoyed your website.

This is for my brother, he was in Jan.1969 to Feb,1970. After 13 months in the jungle he returned to his wife and family only to be killed in a car accident 9 months later, by two drunk drivers. If anyone sees this and remembers him, the family would love to hear from them.

Iwas sure glad to see this web page I thought that the land clearing CO.had been forgotten. WE just had our 1st reuion we hadnt been in contact for over 30 years it was sure nice to see some of the guys. The 59th LC operated in Northern I corp when I got in country April 1970 our base camp was Quang Tri. We were working with the 9th inf. Div. 5 h mec Inf. and 16th SF. My handle on the radio was SHARK 59er. The name on my plow said "BROTHER LOVE'S TRAVELING SALVATION". I don't know who named her. There were also several plows that said "RYDER'S RAIDERS" Hope somebody that reads this will remember.
