Timor caves
Location
Timor caves are located 24km n-e of Murrurundi, in the extreme north of the Hunter Valley, New South Wales. The caves are located in Isaacs Creek.
There are other caves in the area near Crawney pass.
The caves
North-west of camp site
Some of the main caves on this hill are fairly large caves to the extent of passages in the caves and large caverns, e.g. TR1 Main Cave one large room 45m by 25m with little passages under and around the room. Another cave "the Belfry Cave" TR2 a great cave when just when you thought it finished you find a squeeze passage and find more cave than what you already found.
