The Gorge (R18) As shown here, the track is punctuated regularly with the appropriate signage, and the appropriate censorship ratings. Beyond the tree is a near vertical decent which turns slightly toward the right before swiftly going uphill again. No front brakes here!
The Final Slope (before Martin's Mistake).There is a sharp left turn at the top of this section (where my bike is in this photo) and it goes straight down along the side of a cliff face. Note also the gravestone behind where my bike is.
Here lieth Martin and his mistake - where the tree is on the right turn. The track then ends with a short, steep drop onto the flat, 5m from where my bike is.
