QAC Staff

  • Led Census Awareness campaigns in the community, provided information, forms, and assistance in completing citizens' decennial census questionnaires in English and Spanish.

Enumerator

  • Interviewed citizens at their residences in English and Spanish, completed questionnaires and submitted to Crew Leader.

Assistant Crew Leader

  • Collected questionnaires and prepared all work for Crew Leader's inspection and delivery to Local Census Office; encouraged and instructed Enumerators in their work.
  • Researched  and traveled to hard-to-enumerate areas that the Enumerators were unable to complete; conducted Census Awareness interviews by telephone and in person to complete all cases in our Team's assigned area.

  • Main contact for all territories—liaison between customers, sales representatives, engineering and production staff.
  • Prepared quotations to clients and for presentation by representatives in the field, negotiated and processed orders and government contracts. Maintained all quotation and sales ledgers, prepared invoices, handled inquiries for catalogs and technical information.

Facility Security Officer

  • Cleared to Industrial Security Level of "Secret," administered the company’s security program.

Legal Secretary

  • Coordinated work flow of two staff attorneys, operated word processor, researched Federal Register and other government documents to support litigation, edited and prepared for publishing lengthy legal documents and distributed to government agencies; was Law Librarian, composed letters and memoranda for attorney’s signatures.

Engineering Secretary

  • Proofread, edited and typed all department correspondence, memoranda, articles, briefs to U.S. government agencies, maintained files and library.

Buyer

  • Located best suppliers; negotiated and processed orders for material and supplies; checked and approved vendor invoices for payment, prepared cash flow and order status reports, established perpetual inventory system for steel.
