THIS PAGE IS UNDER MAJOR CONSTRUCTION!!
This page is dedicated in memory of the foundation of the first generation(GEN-1) of the TRUE NORTH NINJAs(TNN). There are personnal profiles of each and every member. There is also a link to a page recounting of the many exloits of the TNN in a country far from home, Taiwan.
In The Beginning...
The
True North Ninjas is an institution which originated in Keelung, Taiwan. It
was founded on the night of July the 8th 1999, at approxmately 11:30 to 12:00
PM on the third floor of one of the dorms at Ocean University in Keelung. This
group was founded during the 1999 Overseas Chinese Youth Language Training And
Study Tour to the Republic of China. It was composed of Overseas Chinese from
all over Canada, ranging from the age of 18 to 22. That night there was a special
force in the air that guided all the Canadians who had never met before to group
together to form what was to go down in history as the TRUE NORTH NINJAS. Their
call was "True North" which would strike pride in each and every CBC
of group C/D. Later that night, the TNN would preform its first true act of
bravery, truth, loyalty, and most important of all a act of true ninjahood...
THE GREAT ESCAPE 1999
...It was the birthday of one of the members of our group, therefore a visit to the local pub had to be made. Thirteen members would make their first attempt to sneak out of the heavily patrolled compound of Ocean University(Ocean). This is when their superb ninja skills helps then skale walls, crawl over roofs, jump out windows, and slide down poles without making the slightest of sounds, therfore it was not noticed that there were shadows running from one shadow to another. Of the thirteen ninjas, twelve made it out. The other suffered an injury while escaping, however he was still able to recollect his wits and make it back inside the compound to tend to his wounds without receiving a single demerit or without disclosing the position of the group in the process. That is also a show of great True North Ninjahood. It can safely be said that the TNN were the first to successfully sneak out of the heavily patrolled compound and very likely the only, as there are stories of many being caught after them. Why not be like the rest of the commoners and just give our nametag in and take a demerit might you be asking, we decided demerits were for those who didn't have the skill to beat the higher authrority. Everything was done "ALL FOR ONE DEMERIT!"

...The True North Ninjas have escaped the from Ocean. Twelve jail birds in all, count 'em up! That night the morale of those incharge fell to a low, while ours soared higher than ever. Now to find the pub...
First and foremost a visit to the local fast food restaurant was taken. The food was amazing and the toilets even sprayed air freashener when flushed. After finishing their food, the real mission commenced...
First off to the pool hall...NOPE! It was too high classed, a membership was needed and drinks weren't even sold there!
The Search Continues...
The ninjas roamed the streets of Keelung, searching high and low for many hours, but in vain. Finally a "Kareoke" was spotted in the distance. The door swung open as the ninjas appeared infront of the owner who asked them, "Should we get some girls?" More time was wasted as they could not accomadate the glowing aura of the twelve ninjas.

Striking GOLD!
Finally after hours of scouring the entire "Miao Ko" district of Keelung and even the downtown area, the neon signs indicating a pub caught the eye of everybody. The pub was named A My-My. What followed was a night of unfogettable experiences shown only by pictures, because no words can be used to describe it(of course it was the only one in the bar that didn't drink!).

Here's da whole True North Crew.
