White Zombie - Astro-Creep: 2000 (9.2 on the Richter scale)
This album is awesome! Some people may not regard White Zombie as metal but I think they deserve a mention here. Personally I wasn't to impressed with La Sexorcisto but Astro-creep is just awesome. There is such a sharp contrast. In La Sexorcisto, the songs were pretty much all along the same vein and sounded pretty much the same. Astro-creep is more experimental each song is unique. Sampling has been used alot more in Astro-creep, it has also been used a lot more effectively. Rob Zombie has used some strange but cool voice effects on songs such as, real solution number #9. The lyrics are also alot more catchy and the music is just orignal.... only on a zombie cd kinda stuff. These are the songs you walk around all day singing that drive you insane because you don't know the next line. J is alot more experimental on this cd with his guitar licks and effects. Sean, well she's Sean.. she's a blonde girl with nice assets, everyone loves Sean. New drummer John Tempesta (ex-testament drummer) replaces Deprume on this cd, a welcome change. Much more confident drumming with outstandning in your face kinda beats. I already mentioned Rob. Don't check this cd out! NAHH FUCK CHECKING IT OUT, GO BUY IT! NOW!
