FEAR FACTORY - Demanufacture (8.5 on the Richter Scale)

Fear Factory have to be one of the most innovative bands of the 90's, blending computer samples and some drum beats, with industrial metal. To top this off is vocalist Burton C. Bell's astounding vocal ability. The vocals range from melodic singing in parts, to Death Metal like growls in others. It may seem like a strange combination, but it works wonderfully in my opinion, although some people seem to

dislike it. Demanufacture is the bands second album after the critically acclaimed and brutal debut 'Soul of a New Machine'. The setting behind the album is of a futuristic world not unlike those seen in Terminator 2, with machines and technology making up a large portion of the lyrics. There are a couple of different versions of the album floating around, with the Digi-pak version containing some cool bonus tracks including a couple of remixes and the awesome 'Your Mistake' and 'iResistancia!'.
