CANNIBAL CORPSE - Vile (7.7 on the Richter Scale)

HACK! SLASH! STAB! KILL!

This Album is pretty fucken fast, furious, violent and punishing. A lot say this is the Corpse at their best/ heaviest, but I tend to think 'The Bleeding' is their best. This album is still a must for all death metal enthusiasts, from Devoured by Vermin to Puncture Wound Massacre to Monolith this album is in your face. If you were lucky enough to get Hammer Smashed Face (live) on the bonus track then I would have to kick the rating to a 7.9, unfortunately I didn't get this track but have heard it and think it is definitely the best track. I'm waiting and begging the Corpse to bring out a Live Album if all their live shit is like this. Now kiddies this album has an R 18+ censorship rating so if your gonna get this CD and your parents are paranoid make sure your careful or hide the track listing (although not as 'bad' as the bleeding track listing, -fucked with a knife - stripped, raped and strangled -etc). It would perhaps be a good idea to ask someone older than you to get this CD for you. I don't believe in censorship, everyone has a right to access whatever music information they like, but music should not be blamed for things such as 'influencing crime' that's bullshit. Okay now this is turning into a rave not a review. The guitars are awesome, thundering, pulsing, sawing, and bleeding in true corpse style. Also there are some pretty awesome bass solo's/parts in there! This CD is another must check, crank it up and enjoy the nuclear blast of CANNIBAL CORPSE!
