Is this a cartoon character or a forgotten superhero of some TV show that just never aired?
I am a real life person who works during the day as a computer draughtsman in a surveying firm. The person depicted in these adventures exists exactly as described and illustrated. No attempt has been made to alter or exaggerate reality.
What exactly is an underwater stuntman?
In essence, one who does stunts underwater. Not to be confused as a daredevil. Planning, practice and training provide the ability to do things that may look hazardous, but the danger to the performer is mostly illusional, once the proper precautions have been taken.
What is the purpose of this?
Having fun. Most sports activities nowadays involve bidding people, cities, countries, participants and even spectators against each other, or setting unrealistic performance records. If I can come back from an activity with more energy than when I came in, my goal is accomplished.
Are you an athlete?
No. I have roughly the same physical limitations as the average person, and work within these parameters. Granted, I have acquired some abilities that look difficult to master, but then that only involves patience and determination.
How long can you hold your breath?
I don't know, and I don't care. I am quite satisfied with the amount of time I can spend underwater. I have been clocked well over two minutes without a breathing apparatus, but shy away from any challenge that might be detrimental to my health and safety.
How deep can you go?
I have been seen in the 50 foot depths without scuba equipment.
What is your biggest fear?
The end of summer. I find it excruciatingly difficult to secure pool time that will allow the development of my particular skills. Doing laps and counting pool tiles just doesn't thrill me enough to get off the couch, and boredom is the most dangerous sport in my repertoire.
