The Old Schoolhouse - "Charnwood House"

Above: Charnwood House. Front door in the middle. Door to the far left leads to the garden via a covered passageway.

Left: the pond in the garden of Charnwood House. This was hidden for many years and eventually unearthed via the promptings of the "gardener ghost". It was not without misgivings that the pond was dug out when its shape (6' * 2' and deep!) became apparent. However, nothing untoward came to light. In contrast, building works at the old vicarage unearthed two bodies (see a later page for the gruesome details).
Below: the mosaic tiled floor. The cat in the picture is called Bean and her arrival at Charnwood House is a very typical "Charnwood" animal story. See Hot Topics

Charnwood House was sold in 2000 and is no longer ours. However, efforts to remove its details from several internet house selling sites have so far proved unsuccessful!
