Last month I had a single pole switch wear out and had to replace it. I looked for information on this project to share with you as it is an easy task. A single pole switch can be found at your local home improvement store, I am not endorsing any store inspite of the site.Be sure to turn the power off and look carefully at how the wire fit into your old switch. The wires should be replaced them the same way. Both sites below were helpful:
It has been a warm winter here in the east so I am already thinking of organizing closets for the spring. I have found a site on installing the closets wire shelves and baskets which can also be purchased at you home improvement store. I think the biggest problem is determining what to pitch out, well some things no longer fit. Check this site for Closet Organizers:
Last summer I installed three ceiling fans in room which already had a ceiling light in the center of the room. I took down the old light and replaced it with a fan with lights attached. I found that especially in my office with the computer equipment running, the room was hotter. With my fan, the room is 4 degrees cooler and the same is true for my master bedroom. I installed fans with lights and a pull chain, I don't put light bulbs in two of the bases as that adds to the heat in the room.
Being married to an Irishman, THE big holiday is coming up so I must share with you this Wee Bit O' Fun . It explains who St. Patrick was and the wearing of the green.
