I promised you last month a site to help you pick the perfect fruit and vegetable for your summer table.

Did you ever see someone at the market smelling cantaloups before buying them?  Well, there's are reason.  Check this site (my personal favorite) for tips on how to select and prepare your fruits and vegetables and what to avoid when buying.

PRODUCE SELECTION:

My son and daughter begged me to put ceiling fans in their bedrooms this spring. (Check our back issues and you can do it too. It's best with two people, Kris read the directions! ) One of the fans wobbled, so I found a site to help with fixing that problem. Stay cool.

WOBBLING CEILING FAN:

Thinking about redesigning your kitchen soon? There are certain rules abut kitchen designing that you should know.  Check this site for width and height for cabinets, appliances, and counter tops.  Be sure to look at the primer for an explanations  of all the professional terms.

KITCHEN DESIGNS:

Have a Jammed Garbage Disposal?  Get the broom stick and then read  how to free the grinder and the fruit and veggies to avoid putting down the disposal.

GARBAGE DISPOSALS:

Spending some hours on your deck? Here's a site which will help you care for  wooden decks:

STAINING YOUR DECK:
SEALING YOUR DECK:

Need a new car and are unsure if Buying or Leasing is right for you?  This site will calculate what the differences are for you depending on your budget.  Just plug in your numbers and calculate.

BUYING OR LEASING?:

Whether your car is new or older, the important thing for this site is that it has a tape deck. Don't go on a long trip without a couple of Books on Tape. Check this link for descriptions of tapes ( browse by subject) and  THEN visit or call your local library to find out if they have them to borrow. It's a great way to enjoy driving.

BOOKS ON TAPE:

While you're at your local library , ask if they have a used book program where patrons turn in bestseller paper backs to be sold  to others at a low cost.  In my county, we can buy paper backs for 50  cents, hardbacks for a dollar and  then return them to be resold to other patrons. Great for the library and great for those of us who have bookcases full of books we no longer need.

Be sure and check back with us in JULY for a link to wallpaper buying. Don't buy without seeing this, but in the mean time don't tell your interior decorator!

Thanks again for stopping by. Have a great summer!
