La Toure Maine-Montparnasse
This 686ft (209m) tower built in 1973, stands out of
the Paris city-scape like a beacon. The designed was
inspired by the Pirelli building in Milan, almond shaped to give
it the desired 'slenderness'. It was the tallest building in
western Europe until the completion of the Messeturm and the
Canary Whary Tower.
