SOME COMMENTS CONCERNING THE XMAS DECORATIONS.

The last weekend in Novemember my family & I made a trip home to Saltcoats for a visit. Consistently we encountered people telling us we had to see the "Lights of Bredenbury". We found the time to visit your town and I could not believe my eyes I have never seen such a beautiful light display! The time & effort your town & residents have put into their displays is incredible. The whole town glows from miles away! I felt compelled to write and express how much the visit meant to us. I enjoyed seeing the lights of Bredenbury. Great idea and well done on your site. I always enjoyed playing hockey in the old rink in town. Dave Kerr, Unity, Sask.
Barclay of Westerhaug Bus Lines and Seniors from Theodore, Springside, Yorkton & Melville send a HUGE BOUQUET OF ROSES to the Town of Bredenbury. He took the seniors to Bredenbury to see the spirit of Christmas as displayed in its lights. As many of these people have no means of transportation the atmosphere of the town certainly meant a lot to them. They thouroughly enjoyed the lights and couldn't believe the effort that a community the size of Bredenbury has put into Christmas.

My daughter and I were able to get "home" to Bredenbury for the first time to see "The Bredenbury Lights" last December. We were amazed at what transformation took place when the lights came on at night. It was beautiful!! We took our time driving around and then went back to take pictures of our favorites to show the rest of the family. When I came back to Winnipeg, I ran into a former co-worker and she was talking about a small town that they had been to in Saskatchewan for the Girls Hockey Provincials. She was telling everyone what a beautiful little town it was - the people were wonderful and friendly - and you should see the way they decorate for Christmas. I quickly informed her that that was my home town. Way to go Bredenbury. You have done yourselves proud!!....S. Falkenberg(Simpson). Winnipeg, MB.
Hi, My name is Sue Penman and I am a Hostess with Jenode Tours Ltd. I was on my way home from Winnepeg with a coach tour. We had 50 people on board and I was told by two women from Saskatoon about your town and the beautiful display you put on at Christmas. Well it was storming and the road was terrible but we decided to drive through your town. We could see it from the highway but when we got into town we were really impressed. We started singing carols and there was alot or ahs and ohs as we drove around your town twice. Well I am looking forward to seeing the town next year and I will be telling all the hostess of the tour bus company about your town. We had a few minutes of rest from the bad roads and we really got into the spirt. Thanks so much Sue.
