Our youth group took a trip to see The Newsboys "Step up to the Microphone Concert" at Chaperell Center in Midland. The Music and special effects were amazing. The Newsboys have are be a cool Christian band. They have that cool beat that you just want to jam too. It was really an awesome experience to see hundreds of people our age praising God. Petra Opened for the Newsboys and their lead singer signed a poster for our youth group wich can be seen in our youth room at church. I got to go backstage and meet some of the Newsboys and they are really nice guys. We also have a poster at church signed by them. The night was toped of when Mark and Chad finished helping move equipment and the guy Chad was working for gave him the guitar picks that the Newsboys had used that night. Whoever says you can't have fun as a Christian has never been to a Newsboys or Petra Concert.
