• 1-2000 to 9-2000: Espial Inc. During this time, I built a complete ECMAScript (JavaScript) test suite for my company's browser (Espial Escape). I also helped to develop the SDK (Software Development Kit) for an embedded email client from the ground up. This project required me to do research in different RFCs (POP3, IMAP4, SMTP…) as well as writing different front-end applications using Java's Swing toolkit to test out various features of the SDK.

  • Web Message System: Basically it's similar to an web-based email system like Yahoo, Hotmail... The difference is it's message oriented. The objective is to create a system that can organize messages efficiently. The system uses EJBs to manage persistence and JSP pages to interface with the server components.
  
  
  
  • NNTP Client: This is a dynamic Java-based news reader that support plug-ins in the form of agents. The total number of lines of code for this program is well above 10,000.
