The Storm

There's a ship out in the harbor
Set to sail where no one knows
There's a young man who has taken lead now
Who knows not the sea as friend or foe
He listens to the sea call
As the rains come falling down

The darkness settles in now
The lightining crashes down
He hears the voices callings him
Now the squall has drawn him in
Here stands the man who'll never be the same

How the past come crawling back
Does the fate call chance to future
He feels alone in all it's chaos
Fearful in all it's powers
He'd be a fool to stand and bluff
As the storm rains down on call

When in it's face he feels his fall
Before he gives in he hears them call
He fights alone his hidden battles
But the storm that rages in his eyes
It claims it's toll on hearts and souls

They won't let him be
The one the storm pulls down
And in his darkest hour
We hope he knows he's not alone
Because we won't let him be
The one the storm pulls down

The winds might leave him ragged
The rains might steal his breath
But we still call out with faith, love and hope
He won't be the one the storm pulls down

Calm waters, will carry him home
They'll carry him on

And in his darkest hour we hope he knows
Because we won't let him be

The one the storm pulls down

No he won't be

The one the storm pulls down
