Hi! My name is Slinky, and this is my personal webpage. My mommy helped me create it.
Here’s some stuff about me:
I was purchased at a petstore in 1995. I was mommy’s first ferret. I was just a tiny kit when I was brought home, and I didn’t like being alone. So at night, I would cry in my cage, and mommy would bring me into bed with her. Then, of course, I would bite her toes! So pretty soon, mommy and her boyfriend decided to get me a friend. I heard that she has this disease called "ferret math" or something. So along came Kyle. And then Noel. And then Sandy. And then Toby. Sheesh! It seems like a pretty bad disease to me.
I’ve always been the alpha ferret in the family. Everybody listens to me, no bones about it. I put Kyle in his place all the time, since he thinks he’s so cool.
Gizmo got very sick in 1999, and I knew he wasn’t going to make it. We talked a lot at night about the Rainbow Bridge, something that mommy had told him about. He said he was gonna go there, and he would wait for me to come when I was ready. One night, he was ready. Mommy took him to the vet and didn’t bring him back.
So now I don’t have a bestest friend anymore. There’s no ferret in the whole world like Gizmo.
