| Ah......my duck ! I loved my duck. His name was Hans. From left to right... Guito, Hans, Gretchen, Sweety Pie. My Mom bought four ducklings for us in the summer of 83...I believe. Ducks can be very affectionate if raised that way. They would all respond and come when called. Hans would even snuggle with me and sleep in my lap. There are many stories of our ducks. They have been in our bathtub ... swimming! One year they took over my little brother's swimming pool. Gretchen outlived them all. She lived to be around 5. Someday, I WILL have ducks again! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Meet Cocoa. She was my family's second dog. We got her from my Uncle in Kentucky. She was so cute. She looked like a miniature Doberman. I think that went to her head, because she acted like one too! : ) Cocoa lived to be 14 years old. She just recently passed away in 1997. We do miss her, and as soon as I can find grown up pictures of her, I will add them. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| This is Flower.......and MY daughter. Shauna is about 3 years old here...so it was taken in 1993. Flower is one of Cocoa's pup's. Cocoa had one litter of pup's when she was younger. Flower looks more like a skunk than Cocoa! And her attitude is exactly the opposite of Cocoa's too! People just love Flower. I need to find a better close-up of her. As you can see...she is very gentle and easy - going. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| As Cocoa got older, she lost the use of her back legs. She became saddened by this, as would anyone. My parents purchased this set of wheels for her. It didn't take her long to relize that she had been given a second chance to walk. It was so cool to see her buzzin' around with her "new legs". We lost Cocoa a few months later as her paralisis extended slowly upwards to her heart. We love you and miss you Cocoa! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
