I look out towards the sunrise

Feeling the rays against my tear covered face.
Knowing this day...
Is one of many that I need to endure..
For the happiness is still long off..
I wrap my blanket tighter around me..
To keep out the chill in which I feel in my heart..
I listen for the sounds of the world awakening..
Embarking upon..the new day..
I amuse myuself..with the tea bag floating in my cup..
Enjoying what is left of the peacefulness..
Knowing this new day..
Will once again..
Test my strength..
My faith in what it is I believe..
But most of all..
It will bring me..
Closer to the future that I have so longed for.
