Dear Mother
When I was young
I often did things
that would make you mad
that would let you down
when I was a teenage girl
I often did things
that would make you confused
that would make you sad
Now, I grow up and away
from home
I often think about things
that I've done back then
mostly all those crazy and
stupid things
But, still you showered
me with your love
still you gave me your affections
still you gave me your special
attention
still you made me feel I'm
special
I adore and admire you
for what you are and what
you've done
I want to be like you in
some ways
Yet, you taught me how to
be me in my way
with all the good things
inside of me
I am so sorry, mom
for those times when I let
you down
I didn't mean any of them
I didn't mean to hurt you
I want to thanks you, mom
for the faith you have in
me
for all the memories when
we were together
for the lessons of life
you've taught me
I just want to let you know
that I'm so proud to be
your daughter
that I would never
let you down
that I miss you so much
I know that I didn't say
this words often enough
But, I do mean it when I
say that
I love You, mom
