My main hobby right now is doing Home Pages and adding more, to the site.  This has been a lot of fun. Never too old to learn new things.

I do knit afghan's, especially if I am watching TV.  In the last 10 years I have knitted around 25, and usually give them away to family and friends. Running out of patterns. Still have not mastered the circle needles yet.

I love to read Romance novel, where love always wins out. A friend keeps me supplied, as I don't buy them any more. But do have quite a collection of books. Around 500.

I also enjoy County Music, have started to buy CD, now I think they sound better than tapes.
But my one all time favorite is of course Elvis. I have around 95% of his music, most are on LP's, all his movies and special, and I won't mention the box of paper article's that I have collected over the years. Have been to his home, if you liked him, go there.  You will not be disappointed.  I also have a CD, that I can put on the computer and visit his Home and grounds and ect.
( If I have enough interested people I can do a page devoted to him, I have some picture that I have taken, so let me know)

We also love to plant a garden, I usually buy too much and than give half of it away. Last year we even tried Purple Peppers. Here is a small picture of our garden from last year "98"

The first year we were here, I bought a whole flat of tomatoes, did not look like that many, well there was 48 plants. We were begging people to take tomatoes that year. We have cut back on the size of our garden, but still grow a lot of vegetables. But I hate to weed!

You can see that woods back there, we have seen many wild animals that live back there. We have had red foxes, daddy, mommy, and 3 babies come up in our yard. Especially if I cook chicken that night, so I make a little extra for them in the summer. Extra chicken for the cats too.  Here is another picture of our back yard.

I enjoy meeting new people, and the computer has allowed me to do just that, with the pen pals. You know who you are, and I thank you very much for sharing with me your dreams, tears, and joys.

I have a lot of plants in the house, it takes me around 5 gallons of water to give them all a drink.

I also love to cook and bake. I do make very good home made noodles, or at least my family thinks so. But as for pie crust and raising bread, I buy it at the store. Never got the hang of making either one. The best magazine that I have seen on cooking is "The Taste Of Home" it has down to earth cooking.

I do enjoy helping others in the process of leaning new things on the computer, because we were all at the same place at one time. "When is the button to turn it on at".

I have one saying:
"A problem is something that money can't fix
 Everything else is an situation"

We also grown many flowers, especially Bearded Iris. We have around 50 different colors now. We love all king of flowers.
