Sharks
Now these aren't the sharks in "Jaws", but they're called sharks. These include Bala Sharks, Red-tailed Black Sharks, and others. They're part of the Cyprinid group which has Barbs and Danios. We'll look at some of the care tips for two of these fish.
Bala Shark: dH 5-10 degrees and pH: 6.5-7.0. Temperature: 72-80F. Foods: flake foods all the way to freeze-dried and some crushed lettuce and bloodworms would be a nice treat for them.
Red-tailed Black Shark: dH 5-20 degrees and pH: 7-(I don't know what slighty acidic water is in degrees. Please tell me at [email protected]) Temperature: 70-85F (Note: it's best to keep them at 75-78F.) Foods: dried foods, freezed-dried Tubifex worms, and vegetable matter. Note: these guys can be aggressive. See the picture gallery.
