Mollies

Sailfin Mollies are hard to care for and Black Mollies are short-lived.

Care for the Sailfin Molly:

pH: 7.5-8.0----- dH: 25-35 degrees----- Temperature: 77-82 degrees Farenheit----- Foods: vegetarian dry food and algae, and could probably eat live foods and flakes.

Care for the Pointed-mouth Molly or the Black Molly:

pH: 6.5-8.0----- dH: 20-30 degrees----- Temperature: 75-82 degrees Farenheit----- Foods: (same as Sailfin Molly)

Platies

Like the Swordtails and Guppies, there are different types of Platies including: Red Wag, Red, Blue Mirror, Simpson Coral, Black, Blue Mickey Mouse, Golden Comet, Golden Moon, and Simpson Tuxedo and probably many others.

Care for the Platy:

pH: 7.0-8.2----- dH: 10-25 degrees----- Temperature: 66-77 degrees Farenheit----- Foods: (same as other fish)
