Gouramis

Pearl Gouramis

The Pearl Gourami is also called the Leeri. They are very hardy, in fact one can live up to about 8 years!!!! With the exception of the Blue Gourami, the Pearl Gourami is the hardiest of the Anabantids.

Care for these fish...

pH: 6.5- 8.5----- dH: to 30 degrees----- Temperature: 75- 82 degrees Farenheit----- Foods: live foods, vegetable matter, and flakes. (Note: keep only peaceful tankmates for these fish as fin- nippers or non- peaceful fish may nip and attack at the male Leeri's fins. The mean fish may attack the female Leeri's fins, too.)

Blue Gouramis

There is the normal colored Blue Gourami, a "Cosby", and and albino.

Care is...

pH: 6.0- 8.5----- dH: to 35 degrees----- Temperature: 75-82 degrees Farenheit----- Foods: almost anything, flakes, finely chopped pieces of meat, live foods, frozen foods, and on and on.

Dwarf Gourami

The Dwarf Gourami requires regular water changes because they are prone to disease.

They are one of the most beautifully colored fish of the aquarium hobby.

Care for the Colisa lalia (that's the scientific name for the Dwarf Gourami):

Honey Gourami

The Honey Gourami is only really suitable for experienced aquarists.

The male Honey Gouramis are like the females then they change looking different from the females.

Care for the Honey Gourami:
