"GOOSE"

Goose is a 5 year old, 115 lb male that
I got when I was 18, my 2nd year of college. It was probably not the best
time to get a dog but nobody could convince me otherwise, I am stubborn
(which has rubbed off on my dog!). Obviously my mother was a little distressed
when I told her I was getting a rottweiler, for we had always had golden
retrievers and labs. As it iturns out, I think my mother cares for him
more than anyone and Goose may believe he's a black golden retriever! Nothing
makes him happier than chasing down a tennis ball, on land or water!!!
He's, by far, the best swimming rottie I've come across. He rarely shows
aggression and is the sweetest boy one could imagine, he simply aims to
please and, in my biased eyes, he always succeeds. I love him and know
that as long as he is with me and his many other human and dog friends,
he'll be the happiest dog in Boulder! Goose was with me through some of
the best times in my life and he'll always be "my first" and he'll always
be the one I love most, forever.

I think he's doing pretty well all things
considered. He's been steadily putting on weight since we ended chemo,
which is very encouraging. Although, the truth of the matter is he is sick
and it's not going to just go away. I am trying to come to grips and we're
just having fun together. I'll take him for as long as I can have 'em!

Wishing they lived as long as us,
Kiely
