They made us leave you alone that fateful morning,
And then suddenly you died.
We always said that we'd be there for you,
Please understand that we really tried.
The passenger seat, still sits empty,
Patiently awaiting your return.
It leaves an overwhelming sense of grief,
That those whom didn't know you, could discern.
We can never fall asleep at night,
Our great loss of you, is always on our minds.
We think of our lives without you,
And the tears are not very far behind.
If we could go back, and to have never known you,
To avoid all this sadness, grief and pain,
We would gladly step ahead,
And do it all over again.
With all of our love
Frank, Diana, Damian
and Sable...
