A multi-group placer in the US and Canada, Jack came to us from Louisianna in 1993. Sire of many champions, Jack's legacy is his joy of life and his sense of humour passed on to all his offspring. Jack epitomizes, for us, what a Curly-Coated Retriever is and should be! Flash ! This just in .... Jack is the sire of the #2 Curly in Canada for 1999 (Ch. Krisroys Dixieland Delight) AND is the great-grandsire of the #3 Curly in Canada for 1999 (Ch. Acme Double Trouble)! Both these girls are owned by Lorraine Libby of Whitby, ON.
This gal was our introduction to the breed and is responsible for our involvement in Curlies. She was truly the matriarch at Riverwood being the mother and grandmother of some of the youngsters in residence. Katie tended to pass on her sensible, quiet demenour to her kids (thank heaven!).
