Hi. My name is Zeira.

And once there was a puppytime...

... and once she was a small one.  Even her name means small as she looked so small with her big brown eyes, when she came to us. Zeira is hebrew and means tiny or microscopical! Now, as a youngster she is 65 cm and weight 37 kg.

Our little Zeira was whelped on July 9th 1998 in Israel. We had a possibility to spend a year under israelian sun, as my husband was working for the United Nations. There we met many local ridgebacks including Zeiras father Sakaza, who impressed us greatly.

Later I heard the great news about this newborn puppy I had been waiting for.
Orit Nevo  (a chairman of Rhodesian Ridgeback Club of Israel, a breeder of Sakaza and a judge also) guided us to this beautiful dog. Now Zeira is living happily with us in Finland.

Zeira is best described as an angel...or a little devil. Oh yes, she is one of a kind with these two personalities. She is our wild thing and makes our heart sing... What she certainly has, is a great spirit and a wonderful enthusiasm for life.

Zeira has just begun her show career and is showing a good promise. However first of all she is a family pet, with a dream of  pups of her own and a nice fiance� ofcourse...
