Ted & Diane's Tibetans
Aisha and Sugar
I was raised with dogs, and always had one or more throughout my childhood and first marriage, mostly Border Collies and German Shepherds.
My present husband, Ted, had less experience with dogs and was hesitant
to have one where we lived in town. He finally agreed, but with some stipulations - it had to be small, and not shed.
My girlfriend had a Tibetan Terrier and I had always been attracted to
her shaggy coat and fun-loving disposition. Ted & I dog-sat
"Pi" several times, and he soon loved her as much as I did. We visited a breeder and
were put on a waiting list for a pup. Eventually we purchased Aisha (Aisha's Faint Whisper) and were quickly captivated by her intelligence
and sense of humor.
In 1998 we moved out of town, and, after having her eyes and hips examined, decided to breed Aisha. On September 12, 1998 she delivered 7
beautiful, healthy pups, which gave us great joy as they grew and developed their own enchanting personalities. Letting them go to new
homes was difficult for us as we had become very attached to them, but we were fortunate in finding excellent homes where they are loved and
spoiled, as they deserve! We kept one pup, Sugar (Faint's Brown Sugar), a golden brindle female.
The two girls play together and entertain us with their funny ways.
Although we considered raising another litter, we decided against it, as we
found it very hard to part with the pups and didn't want to go through that
again, and therefore both girls have been spayed.
