Kane
I put Kane to sleep March 1, 2001.  I miss my friend.
And here's my guy in all his glory, lounging on the futon being his relaxed self.
Kane LOVED swimming.  I took him to water every chance I could.
Here's Kane with all *his* boys.  They were all wonderful friends.  It took some time teaching Kane to be gentle with them but once he knew, I trusted him completely.  In this picture they are all scrabbling to see who can eat the most Rice Krispies in the shortest amount of time.
This is one of my favorite pictures as he's smiling.
The need for Pitbulls seen in a positive light is a great one.  The media and press have done a wonderful job convincing people that Pitbulls are blood thirsty animals that want to do nothing but bite and fight.  It's a shame people are willing to buy into something without knowing the facts.  I for one would never down something without first doing my own research.  People are SO willing to believe everything they hear instead of first seeing what the real truth is.  I have also noticed that in most cases the people willing to slander, are the most unreliable sources to begin with.  Do your own research before slandering.

Pitbulls are seen as dogs that cannot be controlled, trained, placed with other dogs or animals, nor kept without fearing them.  What a lot of people don't realize is that ANY dog can bite, ANY dog can become viscious.  If you want a dog that you can be 100% sure it won't bite, get a stuffed animal.
