Huskies in foster care

Logan

Here is what his foster mother has told me about Logan He is quiet, sweet, gets along good with cats, dogs and kids. Foster mom says not young kids; her kids are 14 & 17 and he does fine with them. Logan has been living in the house for some time now, and he is housetrained. He is also walking on a leash and enjoys his several outings a day. He is believed him to be about 2 years old maybe slightly older? Logan is a black and white male, intact, blue eyed. He is still very thin. Logan likes men; he is gaining confidence daily and is becoming more curious. He eats straight kibble now (Noble). He is still nervous when you enter the room but allows himself and even enjoys to be petted. His foster mom said he is really wonderful and that she can't say enough good things about him.

2 1/2 year old female named Mika

1 1/2 year old male named Quinn

7 month old female named Nanook

2-year-old female named Ice.

Nanook

Nanook - Is eight months old, she is black and white with blue eyes and is growing into a beauty. She has come a long way. Nanook arrived here two months ago weighing 13 pounds, she is now up to 25 pounds. She eats kibble mixed with canned now and is doing much better but she is still not a big eater. Because of her young age, she is still shy and is frightened easily. However Nanook often goes out into public places and she has done very well. Nanook is great in the house but I think she prefers to be outside, she likes playing with the other dogs, and she also enjoys being outside on her own. She gets along great with my cat. Nanook is fully vaccinated and will be spayed prior to placement.

Ice

Ice - Is a red and white Siberian Husky with blue eyes. Ice is two years old and she is starting to like attention but she is still reserved. She likes to give kisses once she trusts you and is now accepting treats from your hands. She is very good with all other dogs including my baby cocker. She loves toys!!! and bones of any kind. She prefers to be inside, and she is housetrained. When she is outside playing with the others, she has incredible speed and would make a great runner for someone interested in sledding. She is only 28 pounds and looks thin, she is now eating kibble mixed with canned food, she stills eats very little. She has a great temperament after everything these pups have been put through they have proven themselves to be gentle souls. Ice is fully vaccinated and will be spayed prior to placement. Of all the dogs I have seen she has come the farthest. "

Yes, Quinn does have two eyes; he is just winking at you! Quinn is a 1 1/2 year old male.

Quinn has been adopted!

Mika

Mika - Is two and a half years old and is the clown of the bunch. She is always ready for fun and play. She loves playing with the other dogs, running at top speed with the larger dogs and being very gentle with the babies. Mika is curious and is basically the leader for investigating and doing new things. When I saw first saw Mika I was taken by how absolutely beautiful she is. I could easily say that her colouring is the most beautiful I have seen in a husky. She is soft shades of brown, mocha and cream with big dark brown eyes. Mika likes to be outdoors best because of her full winter coat, she likes running and playing in the snow, however she is quite and well behaved indoors but she gets too hot. Mika is the most easy going of the bunch, she likes attention and treats. Mika weights 32 pounds, she is a good eater and likes dinner time. She is also fully vaccinated and will be spayed prior to placement.
