| While Summer would never qualify as a Great Dane, it came to my attention last summer when I lost my 11 yr. old Golden, "Tish" to cancer, that despite Dane's being my chosen breed, that for all of my adult life, I have also owned a Golden Retriever. Why it took so long to take notice of that fact, I really can't say. So to give those wonderful Golden's their due, I decided that they should be included in my website. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Summer is my 4th Golden. She is simply put, beautiful, and if it weren't for her breeder being a novice, that had aspirations of greatness at someone else's expense (being mine), Summer would be out in the showring. I purchased Summer to be shown, but when it came time for her papers to be mailed to me, her breeder wanted to be registered as a co-owner without any type of contract. When I declined the papers were sent to me for limited registration only, so Summer is not able to be shown, but is a Ch. in my heart anyway. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| If I never have another show quality Great Dane, it is my hope that maybe I will be able to find a good and reputable Golden breeder and possibly start showing a Golden or two. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
