Say hello to Zinnia, the beige hooded rat, and her friend Yang, the siamese rat. Yogert drop, anyone?!?
Yin, the black irish, and her sister, Yang, snuggling and looking like their namesake (yinyang). These girls are about four weeks old here, and were rescued from the feeder bins at a local pet store.
Here is our dog, Gumby, with his favorite rattie, Stella Luna. Luna is a beige bareback rex. Gumby and Luna love to play tag. Gumby will chase Luna, and then she'll turn around and chase him... and then he hides behind me! Sometimes, she'll even hop on his back and groom his tail!
BABIES!!
Here is Yang with her babies. She had eleven black berkshires on May 27, 1999 around 8:00 PM. They were available for adoption on starting on July 8, 1999.
Sad News: I noticed on Friday, September 10, 1999 that Zinnia, my first sweet rattie has TWO tumors. sigh. She's moving around just like her usual self, but I'm afraid she doesn't have much longer before the tumors get too big for her to function normally. Anyone who has any suggestions on what I can do to make her life easier and happier, please e-mail me. Thank you. UPDATE! Most of Yang's babies have been adopted!! However, one of Yang's girls, Prosephene, had babies August 27, 1999 around 6:00 A.M. For pictures and adoption information, check out the new Babies site!
I'd love pictures! And I want to be kept updated on how my babies are doing! E-mail (or snail-mail... e-mail me for my address) pictures of the critter you adopted from me. I'll put it up on my new "Adopted" site so everyone can see how happy they are in their new families!
